Pretty brakes!

I fixed sunroof drains and reglued the a-pillar fabric. Rewired roof lights with 10g wire. Gave it a good once over before I leave for KAT.

I have to reglue a bunch of pillar fabric. Did you pull it off all the way first? Or just somehow glue up loose sections? What glue did you use?

It has been 12 years since the buttons started falling off of the radio in my LR3. Single CD. Somewhat of an obscure radio. Finally decided to buy one on eBay from the UK for around $280 shipped. Had it shipped over, replaced the old one with the new one last night.

They have different parts numbers (VUX500430 vs. VUX500241) so it felt like a gamble, but turns out it works great. Having missing buttons has annoyed me to no end but I could never justify something like $900 from the dealer, or even $500 for those with the exact part number and in the states that occasionally come up on eBay.

Anybody found a replacement that adds features more current, like CarPlay, and fits?

My feedback regarding regluing the A Pillar inside fabric - Your mileage may vary. I used some sort of 3M Spray glue. Sorry, can't remember exactly which type. It did not last more than a couple of months before starting to peel off again. Perhaps I did not use enough glue, because I was concerned about big dried permanent stains of glue - the cloth is very thin. But I actually think it was the wrong type of glue. My advice is not to remove the entire cloth to reglue it unless it is almost completely peeling off, or unless you are confident that you have the correct glue. In which case, send me some please!!
