Please post things that are more tech/support/question oriented in their own thread. That is kinda what forums are for. You will get better help than posting on page 195 of this thread.

I think I managed to successfully move it? In Tech or Support. I think....? ;/ ... On a side note: Today I removed my rear Lower Tailgate latch and motor on the 2008 Sport, it had the clicking sound. And the Tailgate would not fully close. When tapping the metal half cogwheel with a screwdriver and mallet, the boot would then close correctly with the motor engaging fine. So, I've removed the small motor and cut off the rivets to open it up. It all looks fine. The teeth on the cogs etc, all are fine. One of the micro switches 'Nipples' you could call it is badly worn, that's all the problem is, it's not actually sensing when the Tailgate is shut. But the other one that controls the motor shut off once the gate is fully closed still works fine. Is there a technical thread on these micro switches etc? I'd really like to successfully replace the micro switch and show people on YT and on here a cheaper hack. For those of us who can solder at least and don't want to have to buy an entire unnecessary part. The microswitches are 2 different sizes though which could be tricky to track down the correct size.

Not today, but in the last few weeks replaced the rear diff. Old diff was leaking fluid and the bearings were pretty loose on the passenger side. Fun times.

Default Air intake filter replacement

I changed my air intake filter, but am wondering if I should try to get a vacuum in there? Is that amount of debris normal in the bottom of the filter box? (See video) I swiped up what I could with a rag, but there's probably more bits of dried leaves and stuff between the fins in the bottom...

Were you on acid when you edited that, i gave up before i saw inside the filter box. I do vacuum mine from time to time to get the dead insects and leaf litter out.

From my experience here in Oz. Government owned Emergency vehicles have tons of the Red Thread locker on just about Everything!

Started working on the burnt / damaged clearcoat. It will need a paint job eventually but the hood is cleaning up way better than expected.
