Had the CEL pop on. So I plugged in the GAP tool and pulled the code. Already got the part on the way from Lucky8.

what kind of code reader do you guys recommend, i have been using my father-in-law's reader and have been getting some codes on my LR3 that on the reader it gives a discription and on line it seems to be something different

example's

p0576 - cruise control input circut low
p0579 - cruise control multi- function input A- circut range / preformance
p0174- system to lean bank 4

also GAP tool. Have used it to clear several faults. Some will always show as the front and rear bumpers have been replaced. Very handy and brings a bit of relief when traveling.

Im going to be purchasing a tool later this week, any thoughts on the Atlantic British iLand tool

Had our annual AULRO forum spitroast in the bush which happened to time nicely with my 50th birthday, middle of winter but a beautiful sunny day and mild day.

I cleaned my MAF and hooked up the GAP to take off the low coolant level warning off since I'm not low on coolant. Now I just have to decide if that's worth bothering with. I'm thinking not.
