Installed an aftermarket grill similar to a lr4 grill and put a 22' LED light behind the grill. What do you think?

You should've used red LEDs that illuminate progressively back 'n forth.....then it would look like Knight Rider!

Default the "hidden" looks good

I like the hidden aspect of the install.

You see it when you wish it to be seen, and otherwise, it is not there.

How did you power it? I presume a separate switch located inside somewhere and then a relay off the battery?

The Light bar and relay are powered directly from the battery. The relay came with a clunky push button switch that is temporarily on the dash. It was pretty strait forward. I will have to add that the grill does affect the throw and flooding of the light bar a little bit but its still pretty bright and makes a difference even when the high beams are on

For the grill, I don't know the manufacture but you can find them off of ebay and a couple of other websites.

I bought this wiring kit on eBay. Easy install and it works great and no need for a switch inside the cabin!

Got the battery bracket today from the LR dealer and the rear tailgate struts just came by FedEx. Struts go on tomorrow. I'll be battery shopping this coming week so I can put in the secondary battery and get it wired up to the split charging system.
Also in my travels around the city, I discovered a supplier of nuts, bolts and washers for the FR roof rack system. This place also has the tie down rings (they call them lift rings) for a lot less than FR, so I may get additional from them if I need more. I did just get a massive amount of the FR tie down rings. They are very pretty but at $11 for a pair they are going to get pricy for any large number of them.
I ordered the FR internal shelf storage system and some cub boxes for tools, and camping stuff.
