Tomorrow is winch install day I think. 2/0 wiring showed up today. So it is time for the Warn VR10000 with synthetic line to move into its new home.

Going to use the engine hoist and my tree straps to hold up the bumper while I work. That thing is heavy!

Going all out with the 2/0.

did you find the supplied wire was not up to the task?

I used what my winch came with, I believe 2 AWG. Just curious.

also is that for battery to control box or both, control box to winch,

It was a used winch and the wires were not long enough so I figured with the load a LR3 could put on a winch I would go big.

Also down the road I would like to go with a heavier winch so I won't need to rewire. Also with my old Smittybilt on the 110 the wires can get really hot so I figured bigger would be better there to

You probably will not need it much re rescue of yourself, but I expect it will get worked out helping the far east fluff.
