Took mine to Cars and Coffee in Augusta. Had a great time checking out the rides.

Little spring cleaning... My rims look like scrap aluminum..

So first a bit of primer

Then a fresh coat of black

Then we pull the masking

And back on the truck

Just have 3 more to do now. Oh and 4 on the 2007...

I diagnosed a bad rear wheel bearing so I have dug in and stripped it most of the way down last night.

Had the alternator replaced. Old one was toast, bearings were whining and when it was removed it was hot. also an oil/filter change. Discovered while it was up on lift where that click/rattle is coming from. Tail pipe is bumping against a bracket. Seems when I hit a rock and dented the pipe that it moved enough to now contact the bracket. Very annoying but at least it is not having something fall off the LR and that is a good thing.

I finished a project to replace a few parts on the front end this week:
Rotors, hubs/bearings, half shafts, sway bay bushings, front differential, front right axle tube bearings and seals, upper and lower control arms. inner and outer tie rods, lower steering column shaft

Next up, the back end. (second verse same as the first)

Jeff

That was before I figured out the machine shop screwed the bearing.

The Lucky8 guys are squaring me away on replacement bits

Pulled a 24 foot travel trailer, back to storage. Lr3 did great and the brake controller was the right choice.
