Default What exactly is a LR3 Westminster?

I went down to buy a 2008 LR3 HSE today. They also had an HSE Westminster Edition. It was much nicer and appeared to have both the luxury package and the heavy duty package. The sales guy kept calling it a Westminster Edition but it doesnt seem to say that anywhere. It was much nicer than the regular HSE and the same price as a regular HSE with the same mileage at another lot. I went ahead and bought it as I really liked it and it was at a good price no matter what its called. But I am still a bit fuzzy on what makes it a Westminster Edition or if it really is such a thing.

Any thoughts?

Most likely it was just a trim and appearance option.

Most Land Rovers and Range Rovers with special editions don't say a special edition. They just have the package. The westminster is a 400 vehicle special edition with mostly blacks and greys in the interior package. Westminster started with Range Rover and Discovery Two way back when. It pays ohmage to royalty.

Sounds good. I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on this board! Mine is all black with piano black accents on the dash.
