looks like at some point someone mixed in the wrong coolant type. When my son had his LR3 in Germany he claimed he couldn't find dexacool and put another coolant in it. When he came back to the US, I drained everything and found something similar in the expansion tank and some of the hoses. We were replacing the waterpump anyway so just replaced all hoses and flushed.
No I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the PIECE of SNOT thermostat housing, put in a plain jane thermostat and reroute hoses without using that housing. Kinda of how we did on the Disco II
