Default Wipers turn on after turnnig ignition off and opening door

A little recap first: I had the same issue as post '2005 LR3 brake switch issue-fault code P0504. Need help!!'. Followed the same steps replacing and ruling out the brake switch, light bulbs, fuses, etc. He found his issue to be a corroded wire splice underneath the passenger front sill. I did not find any corroded or faulty wiring on that location. I also checked on the battery compartment. No corroded or lose wiring there either. Then I looked into the center console wiring. When moving those cables around the windshield wipers TURNED ON! I disconnected the battery, checked on the harness connectors and I found a little corrosion in one of them. I cleaned the corroded connector and performed a hard reset before reconnecting the battery. Checked the battery, it was 70% so I fully charge it before reconnecting.

I reconnected the battery and turned the ignition on. No brake or parking error this time so I think code P0504 is clear for now. I let it run for a while, turned off the ignition, removed the key and when I opened the door the wipers TURNED ON again! Also the radio went on and the dashboard now says ‘key in ignition’ when there is NO key in the ignition. I had to disconnect the battery to turn the wipers off. I have no idea where to go from here. Looks like all the errors are gone but the LR went mad with the darn wipers.

I reproduced the error (ignition off, key out of the ignition, open the door and wipers went on again) and I looked into the fuse box under the glove compartment. I can hear a relay every time the wipers went on. I think is relay R1. I don't know if this relay behavior is normal, if the the relay is bad or there is something else like a bad center console wiring (I already order a new harness just in case) triggering this behavior.

Thank you!

If the fault was not there prior to cleaning the connector under the centre console, then I would go back there and check that a pin is not pushed back or bent or some other connector under there needs looking at
