Suddenly, the alarm of our LR4 does not activate as usual; a three-peep sound comes out and the mirrors do not fold-in. There is no message about any doors open, nor the tailgate or the hood. However, it does seem as if the alarm actually activates since it will sound if you open a door (since it never closed..).
Has anybody experienced anything like this? never happened to our LR3....

 

Did you leave an extra remote in there? It wont lock with a remote in there.

 

No, I have not. The mirrors won't fold and two "beeps" can be heard as if a door, the tailgate or the hood were opern, but the vehicle does not display any message as such in the screen.....

 

check your instrument cluster and go to settings screen. some stuff might be turned off.
