Backup cam on our recently purchased seemed to be very blurry/cloudy. Could see the cam lens seemed to look like an old 90's model acrylic headlamp. So I got a nice soft glass cleaning cloth and my Crest toothpaste out and did some polishing. Cleared it up pretty well. May not be perfect but the view screen image is a lot better.

Looks good. I've been wanting to polish mine also. - just haven't gotten around to it lol
I think my whole camera unit needs to be replaced though I wish it was just a matter of cleaning the lens for me. In my case it appears like the imaging sensor is pretty fried as no matter the lighting condition, the view is always super washed out like this. I just wind up ignoring the rear camera for now. It's on my list to fix along with the blown stereo (higher priority!)
