Default Low Coolant Warning - Wiring Test Help

Hello,

I had the "Low Coolant Warning" but the coolant level was fine. I've changed the coolant bottle including the sensor and I still have the warning. I would like to know if the use a paper clip to bridge the 2 terminals will that bypass the sensor. I'm trying to diagnose whether I have a defective bottle/sensor or if I have a wiring issue.

I've searched through the forums but I couldn't find a testing procedure.

Regards,

Bonanaza

Are you certain the float's working correctly? I had one defective once, it wouldn't float correctly and would trigger the warning.

The float is floating, I'd like to know how to diagnose the if the wiring or the sensor is faulty.
