Update: I've decided to do complete overhaul of the original NA engine for 8k USD. Waiting time 3 months .

 

It's been a long time...
Got the whole engine fixed and it’s finally running great. Threw in some kind of CarPlay box too. Done 5,000 km since the fix — no complaints so far.
Costs? Almost nothing .
Engine overhaul ~$8,5k
New brake hoses (oem) ~$250
Rustproofing the frame ~$250.

Now it's time to do some adventure stuff!
