Default P0089(64)...again

Nearly a year ago I was having this issue, intermittently. Replaced the fuel rail pressure sensor and still had the DTC. Replaced the low pressure fuel pump in the tank and the DTC went away...until now. About a month ago the main dealer replaced the fuel filter & flange under the JLR recall and everything was fine. In fact it may not even be related. But this time the DTC's no longer intermittent and it will not go away. Anyone have ideas?

Default Resolved

Silly me I'd forgotten there was a TSB for this issue when I first had the problem a year ago. At that time it was believed to be and resolved by replacing the low pressure fuel pump. This time I took it to the main dealer and the lead tech recommend performing the PCM calibration update and several hundred miles later, the code's still not returned.

I'm looking at a 2016, was supposed to pick it up tomorrow, and I found out it's throwing this code. Did you ever find a resolution?

Replaced the low pressure fuel pump for a third time and fuel filter for the fourth time and the code's gone BUT can't confirm it won't return as cylinder 1's misfiring again 10K miles after replacing plugs. coils and injectors.
