Just picked up a new 2012 LR4. Is the passenger mirror supposed to tilt down when you put hte cehicle in reverse? Mine does not and the dealer can't seem to figure it out.

 

its possible it wasn't set properly with the memory seats. Double check the owners manual but you should have to set the memory seats and move the mirrors at the same time and then put the vehicle in reverse and set the mirrors where you want it and press store memory 1 to get it to function.

 

The manual notes that you set it via the information display, I guess between the tach and speedo.

You have additional configurations that show up when the start button is pressed without your foot on the brake pedal.

I don't seem to have those settings, but I don't have memory seats, so I might not have the tilt option.

 

Not in information display when truck is off. I am going to swing by dealer and see what they say.

 

Couldbe posible that we don't have the option.

Took it to dealer today and stumped everyone: 2 salesmen, 1 service salesmen and 2 technicians.

They are looking into further, so the saga continues. I will update as I find out more.

 

Final verdict from the dealer is that the stopped this feature with the 2012 model.
