Wipers Get Stuck on Way Down With Loud Noise
All of a sudden yesterday (during a rainstorm of course), my wipers got stuck about 3/4 of the way down and start vibrating in place with a loud groaning noise that stops after a few seconds. When I got home, I manually pushed them down (they move together when pushing one so the linkage seems fine) and started the wipers again. They start and move up just fine and on the way back they do the same thing and just get stuck at the same spot with the vibration/noise.
Waiting on a tool to arrive today to remove my blades and take a look at everything, but is this just a classic case of a motor going bad? Seems weird that the blades operated fine on the way up and most of the way down, and only gets stuck in the exact same spot each time. I would think if the motor was bad, it wouldn't be able to move them at all?
Thanks!
