Tire size on NON +2” coil over conversion.
Hello team Land Rover…
for better for worse, I have acquired an LR3 /06 SE, with 180k… the air bags are shot, I’m not about to drop the coin on chasing the correction…there’s goin to be a lot to do,and I’m leaning to bullet proofing at each repair point..and I am not camping in this thing, to cling. A phrase it “vill be zee family adventure Vagon” so it will be used sea to sky in the NE on paved roads 90% of the time, year round.
So my question for those in the know, is what’s the limit on tire size when your running “stock” coils?
for that matter, what will stock height be ground to axle?
when the bags worked, the highest suspension height registered was 32.5” at the wheel arch to pavement.
I’m not looking for Baja over landing rawk crawlin tires…so I keep circling back to, 265/65r18”… but will these scrub wheel wells?
thanks for sharing any knowledge.
