Default 16k - No Issues

Feel the need to try and balance out this forum... I have 16k on the clock (‘18 HSE Si6) and not a single recurring issue with the truck. My only complaint was the accelerator lag when I first bought it, but that’s fixed. Towed ~6000lbs for 5000miles, so it’s not underworked, either.

Love this truck!

(Disclosure: I traded in ML350 Diesel, and purposefully opted for the Si6 given all the emissions related issues oil burners have these days).

20k miles and very happy. A few minor issues, rear leak in both rear windows due to water coming in from roof rack area, replacement of telematics unit, and a few software gremlins fixed by software updates. Only serious item of note in my TD6 is that everyone should check their coolant reservior, mine was basically empty and had to be refilled (non leak, just disappeared).

Unfortunately I can’t say the same, but the 2 biggest issues were the hood not opening and the gearshift lag at rolling stops. Dealer have fixed both. A few other ****les that were fixed, mostly software updates.

It should not loose coolant, check the oil cap for residue. Coolant disappearing is never good and can point to big issues. Keep complaining at the dealer so they can pressure test the system, etc. At least you will have it on record.

Only 8 months and 2.5k miles for me which is itching but so far it’s only been initial quality issues from the factory...

all i can say i regularly open your sun roof. I never open mine, but happened to do it last week. The thing rattled so loud we couldnt keep it open. I had it looked at during the 32k service and the dealer said the bolts holding the glass in had some loose. Wow...
