Very odd bluetooth issue. After pairing my iphone, the display picked up the bluetooth hex code as the device name, not the actual phone name. It took 2 days then resolved / found the right name.

I have not seen this posted anywhere happening on Jag or other LRs.

The may be a Discovery v1.0 bug.

Make sure you get the 4 zone climate control option on this car - FYI

Came here for discussions about comfort and technology, did not disappoint. Kudos for being early adopters, be sure to update if any funny problems show up, and PLEASE take them off road.

No kudo's....

just being a huge dumbass with money to burn....

This car was NOT tested in hot weather. The HVAC system cannot keep up and the idiots at LR took out at least 4 vents in 2/3 of the car. DO NOT buy the standard version. You MUST buy the HSE luxury with the 4 zone climate control with the extra vents.

I am a complete moron for thinking $70k would buy me a car with adequate ventilation. What was I thinking?! (sarcastic).

Oh - lets not forget about the 9 MPG I am getting when 16 is advertised!

Man....I hope LR gets sued!

I have a white HSE Lux with Terrain Response 2, all the tech packages and black pack on order. Original ETA was end of May, updated to August.

I recently ordered a bunch of dealer-fitted accessories from the UK in anticipation, as they're almost half the price compared to ordering locally. I'd be happy to provide a detailed breakdown if anyone's interested, but I'd recommend avoiding the Aluminum Sill Plates (they're overpriced) and the iPhone Cradle (it barely fits an iPhone 7 without a case, and requires drilling to install).

Do you have the 2-zone HSE or 3-zone HSE-LUX? I really don't want to spend $2K extra for decent AC. (Since I don't want the massage seats, metallic windshield or heated third row seats in that package)

I didn't know they had a 2 zone version. Wow. That would be even worse. On the HSE model, 3 zone is standard and not even an option until you go to the HSE luxury.

LR must fix this issue. Not having proper ventilation throughout the whole car is completely unacceptable in hot or cold weather.

The SE has 2-zone. HSE and HSE Lux have 3 zone. 4 Zone is available with Climate Control option packages.

I love my Massage seats in Seat Package 5. They have 5 choices for location, and selectable intensity.

Whoever at LR made the decision to **** off all future customers by removing 4-6 vents in the car needs to be fired. And from my experience with Land Rover dealers in the past, none of them give a sh%t about anything. Like I said previously, someone needs to file a class action lawsuit against LR for the climate control design. It will seriously kill a person or animal sitting in the 3rd row area when it is 100+ degrees out.

FYI - my car is in the shop for the 3rd time in 4 weeks to "fix" this. The service manager already knows it can't be fixed, so I am just collecting the documentation so I can get an attorney specific to my situation. And even if I get it back, I will have to park it for the next 6 months. So, now I am spending $1500/month for a rental which I know is safe and I can transport my dog.

Oh. And lets not forget about the 9-10 MPG this thing gets due to having the climate control set to auto LO the entire time you are driving it. Didn't VW get sued and have to pay billions for lying about this?!??!
