Default 2019 discovery

I just got this! 9k miles on it. The minute I drive away from dealership the check engine light was on of oxygen sensor. Not happy.
now a week in it started making this weird whirring/dull whistling noise that is coming from behind the rear view mirror. Does anyone know what this is? Thx! I attached a video with the noise.

Nothing attached. Sorry for your experience. I love my 2019. Really cant think of any problems its had. I had an 18 as well with no problems to report other than an alignment problem early on that was eventually corrected.

I had your same experiences and most of mine were software related. Mostly the dealership updated one part but not the rest. Took two days to get it all update, ive never had an issue since.

Weird no attachment!
glad you haven’t had issues! I’m really hoping after I get this cleared up-it should be good to go! Sure is a nice looking car! Speaking of which-have you seen the new defenders?!? Thx!

thx! I hope they can figure it out! All this software stuff sounds pretty problematic!

What was your issue with alignment? My 19 has some serious alignment issues (steering angle and overall ride)

The steering wheel never just sits level.

There’s two large software updates on this vehicle. The radio/cabin management system and then there’s a whole separate upgrade for the instrument cluster and computers that test things like the sensors. I had the same sensor issue you did and went back twice for it. The second time they said it was the software for the instrument cluster and data gather items so they spent two days updating that and it fixed everything as far as I can tell.

I notice many F-Type Jaguar owners reported o2 sensors being replaced on the 3.0v6 gas engine.

Don't worry...After a couple of hiccups you will have clear sailing. It is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned..and I have had a pile of them in all sorts of shapes and style.

I love mine...In fact I took out a full size RR's (515 HP) and I prefer mine. My only wish....is... it was a little bigger.
