Did fine with lift and tires on weekend stay at beach. 44psi seems to be the magic number to stay above to not get a low tire warning. Put it back to factory stock yesterday evening and took the wheelset and and back panel off. Winch controller came in... and Lucky8 says that winch mount will be shipped out later this week. Had a chance to take pic of roof while at motel... don't get to see that side much. Pics in next post.

Took me a second to gather my eyeballs... they had rolled right out of my head... it's a neighbors yard. We even have an HOA!

New winch control and panel connectors arrived

winch hook/thimble/flat link (?) arrived

threw folding shovel, first aid kit, kinectic tow strap, soft shackles, tree saver, small chain, etc in a duggel bag in the back

got a lithium ion chainsaw

Ordered battery switch and power block and an on board air kit... will figure out mounting points for that under hood when i do the front hidden winch (still waiting on shipping info?!)

glad the hurricane missed us and didn't have to use this junk to drag trees around... or test water depths on the vehicle lol.

started thread on protecting the heat exchangers that look vulnerable through the lower bumper... will deal with thay when it's apart for winch

will do sliders at some point... hope to fab them myself. The lucky8 ones look nice but I beleive I can DIY those without taking vehicle out of comission during that... we will see... thinking gloss black.

Minor addition... wouldnt even mention it if I didn't think others may want to add it. So.... wife was keeping an umbrella in the side pocket of console.. it didnt bother me until I remembered JLR has front of seat umbrella holders.... then I found the price to be absurd.. then I found some from China for 39 dollars shipped... they have the logo blurred out in the photos but they did, indeed, come with Land Rover caps. I'm guessing that this isn't a knock off because that wouldnt be worth the trouble for a low volume item like this, but likely an unauthorized, sent out another door of the factory in unmarked boxes type of deal. Anyway, it works great... install was literally minutes. Had to figure out which direction to mount it... the welded on nuts act as spacers to stand it off from the inside of seat frame... so that you have room to reclip the seat cover back in to place. And you need a 10mm wrench.. the holes were predrilled on our seat. Push in clips for the tube are harder than they look to put in... i actually used a c-clamp on two of them.. then a little bit of very careful finagling while watching from below, and my head on the floormat, to slide the tube on to those 3 clips.. anyway... seems worth 40 dollars to ease my silliness... now i need to vacuum.

Edit: I ordered these about two weeks ago and they were shipped from China pretty quickly... beat there mid October arrival date estimate by quite a bit.

yes it is from ebay. Think i typed in "rover umbrella" and searched all categories to find it... but in those pics are the exact wording for this item... if my wife likes it and it doesn't bother her to where I move it to the passenger side... I may order one for the passenger side... plus it can hold things besides umbrellas I guess.

Can you fit a beer in there? ... but joke apart, you mentioned on board air kit - what did you buy for that?
