Default 2022 Disco 5 Needs Service - Local dealer won't give loaner

Hi All, we bought a brand new 2022 out of Boston last April from Land Rover Peabody. We live in NJ so its not exactly right around the corner.

One of the LED headlights went bad, and a new headlight is going to take about 2-3 weeks to get here for replacement. Our local Land Rover dealer (Ray Catena Edison) won't give a loaner out since we did not buy from them. I was kind of stunned to hear this and figured I'd look into it before arguing.

As far as I am concerned I bought it from Land Rover regardless of the dealership. If the dealer has a problem with that, they should take it up with JLR. I am incorrect that the warranty should be covering a loaner?

Service liners are a courtesy. Not part of the warranty. So it's up to dealers how they use them. In the current environment of tight car availability there are fewer loaners than before so they are selective about how to use them

They will usually have a discount arrangement with a local enterprise car rental if your car isn't drivable.
