Default Battery maintainer

I have just taken the plunge and purchased a 2025 Discovery
Within just a couple of days I have been fortunate enough to discover the much mentioned "Low Voltage" message on the dash (due to me non stop playing with all the cool stuff on the PIVI thingy.)
However - the vehicle is not going to be a daily driver and it appears from what I have read that the low voltage warning will continue unless I can fix things.
We are training ourselves to turn off the infotainment system when we get out of the car (Stop engine, foot off brake, press start button twice and screen shuts off straight away rather than staying on for ever !) Not a great solution but I can live with it.
Two things I would however like to do are,
1/ Connect a battery maintainer under the hood, my question is, can I connect the maintainer to the jump start points or does it have to be connected to the battery direct ;
2/ Can I make the car remember that I don't want the stupid Auto Stop/Start option on EVER - is there a way (without spending $1000's on a GAP tool) to do this.
In addition if anyone knows of any other annoying feature that LR built into the car please let me know.
Thanks
Ken (I am a Brit but I'm not responsible for any of the stupid things the Brits did when building this car )

You can connect to the points under the bonnet.

My 2017 start/stop probably disables different.
