Default How to disable start/stop?

Is there a permanent means to stop it?

I did in my 2017 Td6 by pulling the plug in the back (in a thread here somewhere).

I did same on my 17 Si6 over this past weekend. Takes just a few minutes and I used the same thread as reference. Did they every find the connection for the later production years?

What year and model is the one you disconnected the small plug on the negative terminal?
Please take a picture for us.

2017 HSE td6. I can post a pic later. It is the same connection that I have on VW petrol from 2020 which of course does the same thing to disable the s/s. It does not affect anything else. It is the only connection on the neg side of the battery, easy to locate.

The plug here that is on your neg terminal

Mine's a 2017 HSE Si6 so I will have to see if it's the same.
I have had my auto stop disabled for a couple years with by disconnecting the voltage quality module connector as shown on this forum with no ill effects.
But if I have that connector that you have, I might reconnect my voltage quality module and try your method.
I've always felt there must be a reason they installed a voltage quality module and that without it I have lessor voltage quality somewhere.
Thanks. I'll wait for your picture.
