Default How to remove this plastic rivet without damage?


Hi everyone I am trying to put running board to my 2018 LR5 , is anyone has ideas or experience to remove it without damage it . Thanks

I don’t think there’s any easy way to keep it from getting messed up. However, I think I just bought a few of those same type clips for ~$2 a piece. Could always just buy another if you mess it up.

Thanks . That is what I am going to do , but I am ok if I mess up with the clip itself, I am afraid that I damage on the whole panel and leave scratching on it . I will try to gentle I guess.

Harbor Freight sells a cheap set of plastic pry bars, some with forked end, that are made for removing this type of fastener.
