Got the update today. I think it feels better on the laggy issue, however I cannot find any reference on the in-car screen as to the change. I've read below, how the PCM update is different from the Infotainment update, but is there a way to tell if anything's actually been done?

I felt the same way about the lagging, but after driving it for a few hundred miles I think it is fixed. I wasn't sure if I had just gotten used to it lagging...But I think it is fixed?
My service order was printed out with the "Update PCM" not sure any other way...Except the dealer said everytime they "plug it in" it checks automatically for outstanding updates.

@Groucho123 Same here -- work order said PCM update -- I would hope it would check automatically -- but this time I had to specify the May 12th update for this issue...Tried to do the stopsign test -- now it pulls harder likely because the trans is downshifting more aggressively. I'll have to practice throttling back a bit...

Now I just need to find a cold air intake for the beast -- any ideas?

Sure...Move to New York state! Plenty of cold air and as a plus the taxes are high!

Got the update today. Seems to be better, though I'm not sure it'll ever be perfect.

@1979rover Give it a day or two until your brain gets used to driving normally again. It's a huge fix. The Disco now performs the way it was meant to be and is as smooth in acceleration as any other SUV I've driven!

We got ours back yesterday and it's definitely much better. Throttle tip in behaves a little more the way you'd expect given the pedal travel, and if/when it downshifts from a rolling start it does so in a way that's not so jerky. Much better.
