The parts prices don’t surprise me.
I’m surprised a $16k claim is enough to total a $46k payout vehicle. I always thought it had to hit 50% but you’re just under 35%.
I seem to remember the buyout price on my 3yr lease is $43k on my $75k vehicle so the numbers certainly line up.

That's way more than $16k of damage. We had someone back into ours and put literally a 2 inch small dent in the tailgate metal. Final total cost (on their insurance) was $11k. Tailgate and spray was a few thousand. Rest was all the labor to dismantle and reassemble an incredible amount of tech wizardry and sensors... mind boggling.

Sorry to hear it. What are you getting next - another Disco or a defender??

I've got a close up look at it on his rig. If I could add the two braces, it would be pretty tough to move buy a 250lb deer.

They said it would run more, and wasn't worth continuing any deeper investigation.

Not sure what the inventory is looking like in the rest of the country, but Seattle area dealers are sold out of new Discos and there is only one in stock in Portland..I looked it up out of curiosity last week when I had my 360 cameras re-calibrated. Must be waiting for the 2021s?

Sorry to hear about the old Disco, but you can't go wrong with the new one!

Took Copperhead to the stealer. They ordered a windshield. Tried to do N377 - Incontrol touch pro update.... kept failing after 3 hour. I said forget it today, try it again when you do the windshield.
