Here is what I've found so far, in preparation. https://interactivewebs.com/index.ph...winch-fitting/

I'm in north ga, your in north al, maybe we can help each other on our install.?

In the mean time here are some shots from the trail.

Looking great. Have you experienced any major Land Rover mechanical or electrical gremlins while normal driving or wheeling? Or has it been pretty solid?

One suggestion: Cut out an opening in the front lower plastic cover that covers the front tow point. This cover is supposed to be removable but I had difficulty with that inside my garage (I was afraid I'd break it so I gave up). If you were stuck or in mud it would be extremely difficult to remove and without removing it you'd not be able to attach a tow strap. I've posted pictures of the cutout I did elsewhere on this forum.

I removed mine at home before going offroad, was pretty quick and relatively simple. Looked at the owner’s manual, but it is straightforward.

Great idea. I will do it. Later going to spring for the skid plate from Lucky8.

I did look at the owner’s manual but for some reason it just didn’t want to come off without a lot of force and I didn’t want to break it so I cut it in place. A little harder but manageable.

A little update.
Finally got my winch tray from Lucky8.
Already ran into my first install issue. They sent install instructions, first page is remove bumper. Refer to Topix for instructions.

So I do, and Topixs won't let me view the instructions. Emailed Lucky8 for them to maybe send me a copy??? Responded, "Im sorry but I dont have it either"..... that's strange...

But moving on, does anyone have the "501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation" pdf???

I have a call in to the Stealer, too.

I probably don't need it, I just want to be safe, and not F something up.
