Well, parsing language..."certain...parts, including..." would suggest that the list of 3 isn't the totality of it. Diesel engines are also different than gas when it comes to emissions equipment.

All that is to say if it were me, I'd be asking questions of my dealer.

I did ask. They told me this, So I called CS, they emailed the same thing.

I made me a new tag. I hate that previous owner installed the holder so far off center. Oh well..........

You could move it over. Looks like it would hide the mis-drilled holes.

Or remove it completely (since your state obviously doesn't require front license plates), fill in the holes, and display your cool D5 plate at a location where it won't get chipped and worn out.
