New (to me) D5
I sure hope the workshop figures out your problems. I'll note that 0% soot does not necessarily indicate a clean and healthy DPF. It's also important to monitor the grams of soot and the pressure differential across the DPF. In fact, when I was monitoring my broken DPF it would occasionally indicate a *negative* value for the grams of soot in the DPF. This told me the filter was flowing more freely than a completely clean unit.
Thanks.
Yes, I’m letting them working on the D5. I not telling them I can read the codes, I’m a mechanic engineer, I works on maintenance, etc etc… another check engine and m I will request for my money and look for another.

I am new to LR, but been driving MB diesels for last 25 years, so my experience comes from MB, when per my observation LR is using the same technology.
There is only 1 sensor on DPF, what is pressure differential sensor. All other parameters are calculated from it, so take them with grain of salt.
The ECU suppose to deal with DPF regeneration, but there is several parameters, who can prevent it going, so I always strongly advise to get monitoring scanner and latest ScanGauge3, when not cheap is very good tool.
So make sure you don't have any codes and enough fuel when regeneration is to come. Some owners make extra loop to avoid abortion, but I don't hesitate to do it one time. Then make sure the regeneration is complete on following drive.

in the D5, the only way to know the DPF is on regen mode is slightly increase in RPMs, temp or decrease in MPG? I light notification can be added?
ScanGauge3 This????

SG3 did show regeneration on my D5 and it shows DEF level as well.
I am still learning how to read all the gauges on D5.
My car has over $30k in options, when I found the software not being user-friendly.
On MB I could play with display scrolling when driving, but logics on D5 are very strange and I am hitting a wall, what forces me to read the manual.
The "trailer target" took me a while to figure out as even manual was not very clear on it.

You posted pictures of diagnostic scanner, when SG is monitoring scanner, build to be left connected all the time as it will shut down with ignition shut down (there are options) and has suction cup to attach to windshield.
SG will read and erase codes, but has no library with explanations.
Picture of regeneration????
