Oil Analysis | 2020 D5 Td6
I don't recall seeing it in my local area.
@adam5 I'm interested in this oil option too. I'm at 102K miles. Using Mobil1 ESP 5w-30.

On further research, Motul makes Eco-Clean line, meeting the Ford (WSS-M2C934-B) and JLR (STJLR.03.5005)specs.

The x-clean SKU referred earlier doesn't appear to have Ford/LR certs.
What say you @LR disco 5 @gmfain ?

I remember AirRyan who used to be on this forum but has left since he sold his disco for a cummins, he used x-clean and ran a sample and it turned out better. The ecolite is 5w30 and the x-clean is 5w40 with ACEA C3 and a higher hths level than the mobile 1 oil I'm running right now. I just wanted the x-clean tested but if you don't feel comfortable running it that's fine too.

I'll share the results once I have them (expecting around 50k mile mark).

I have 7 liters left of a case of Castrol Edge STJLR.03.5005 diesel oil that I purchased from the Land Rover Las Vegas parts department. I won't be using them since I'm switching to 5W-40 Amsoil Signature Synthetic Diesel Oil. If anyone living in Las Vegas, NV would like them I'll bring them to your house and give them to you for FREE. Otherwise they'll likely be dumped in recycling with my next oil change.
I am in Sunrise Manor and can offer a beer.
As for oil choice, I did have some oil classes in my carrier, but with technology changing and advertisements overcoming the real tests, I did send some oil to test on several diesels I had.
Mobil1 always generated high iron, so I dropped it from my list long time ago.
Motul and Valvoline are the most popular in US for Mercedes diesels and I am learning about Land Rover.

Is that still valid offer?
