Tire Pressure - Which Recommended Setting?
I running the stock Goodyears on a 2018 HSE si6.
90% of my driving is by myself to and from work.
The car came from the dealer set to normal (heavy) load settings...44 front / 50 rear.
I'm thinking this is too high though...should I be using the light setting?
Interested in the setting that will give me the best tread life.
Also thinking the ride will be more comfortable pressured down a bit.
Thoughts?

Most definitely, there are a number of threads on tire pressure.

Basically light load is fine for most situations 34 front and 37 rear. I ended doing 36-38 front & 38-40 rear. Found the ride to be much better and the wear seems much better than the high pressures.
Only downside is that you have to remember to air up when taking 6/7 people or load it for trips.
Did not notice any difference in gas mileage with the light load setting.

I’m running 2psi above the light load rating as it’s just me and the wife.
I’d leave it at that for luggage too.
No need for the heavy load rating unless you have more than 4 people in it or excessively heavy cargo imho.
