Towing with D-V?
#31
Thanks guys, sounds like it should be strait forward then.
When buying one of the brake controllers what do I ask for? Do the connections differ from car to car? I just emailed etrailer and they came back with "we have nothing for the Discovery 5" yet I see others have gotten stuff to work.
As for wireless, working in the wireless industry I have yet to see anybody guarantee 100% uptime. That scares me a bit with brakes.

Plugs in under dash
I use the Tekonsha Prodigy wireless brake controller, works great! No weight distribution hitch, no problem.

Question regarding what hitch people use for towing with the DV. I came across the below in the online Digital Handbook for the 2018 Discovery(Towing - Tow Hitch). I can't find any hitches on eTrailer that meet the recommended length of 6.5". And for the camper (delivery in June)I am planning to tow I would need a hitch riser. Wondering what others have done regarding a hitch for a DV? Any issues using a hitch riser ~4." Thanks!
