Default Tpms

Changing out the 22" for 20" winters. Do not want to swap out tpms - just leaving tires mounted and ready to put back on car.

Are the aftermarket TPMS ok?
Where do you buy the factory TPMS without paying dealer prices?

Aftermarket tpms are patchy. Sometimes they work, often they are intermittent. And it's really irritating to get tpms system errors every few days. I'd get the oem ones. Make sure you get right freq for your region and model
Some online LR dealers like Land Rover Merriam sell online with a discount. You can also find on eBay sometimes although you have to trust that they haven't been sitting around for years...
Jag and LR share the same ones on some models so that might expand the pool

Does anyone know the actual part number of the correct ones for the US?

I went with some aftermarket ones and so far seems to be a mistake... any pointers on re programming or setting them up with a programming tool outside of going to the dealer?
thanks!

Found the OEM ones (I think LR# LR070840) at Atlantic British for $80 each. Will call tomorrow to confirm and order.

As long as they are turned on / active (which they should be automatically - any tire shop can confirm) then there is no programming. The car automatically detects them when new after 10-15 mins driving and auto stores them
So give it a few days and if that doesn't work then either they are the wrong type (wrong frequency etc) or they are not fully compatible (issue with many aftermarket ones). If I were you I would return them and get the oem ones. Not cheap but they will work properly

An LR tech told me on MY18’ you need to input the individual codes for each sensor into the BECM.

has anyone just swapped on new OEM and the Comp learns them?

I mean real experience, not it’s supposed to.
