really does look that way. it is a 43" lightbar across the front that also acts as a air dam. In the center of the bar is 4 projector beam lights.

Yes did the install myself. It was a job that took a couple of days as I also installed the hidden winch mount.

Lucky 8 makes a A bar for the D5.I have one and gmfain run one as well. I also run a PR 2.0 lift from LKY8 with 275/55 R20 Toyo AT3 on it them. Very happy with them on the trails as well as driving along the beach so far. I run them as well on my LR4. Now as for the cap I have not seen that sold by itself. You might need to pick something up off of EBay as a replacement. I am sure that LR will sell you the entire kit. (BTW do have discounts at several LR dealerships in the state, Boerne, Austin North, Dallas, Grapevine, Houston North, and I hope to add LR Clear Lake to the member discounts here soon. )
Here are a few things I have done to mine so far.
That's an awesome build. Don't own a trailer :-( but I'm running 275/55 KO2s right now. I'd have thought you could go bigger with a 2" lift. At the same time I don't know how big of a tire the wheel well can hold.

I was worried as well. It was not too bad so just take your time on it. Cutting the bumper support worried me more than anything else. All in all it was not too bad to do. Just a few more steps than removing the front cover on a LR4/3. I attached the removal procedure from Topix if that helps.

I have heard of issue with larger than that tired. the /60s were rubbing. I even noticed that with the 55s and needed to trim the rear of the front fender trim a bit. I also had issue with the front wheel well cover where the SC has the cooler venting. I needed to just loosen that up and move it close to the radiator to stop the slight rub.

[QUOTE=ToiletDuck;865549]There's some good stuff on there. I like the lift kits. What size do you need to lift to put real tires on there? Also things I want.

Items I'd like to get.
2) Is there a replacement rear end? My plastic is scuffed already and frankly a machine like this doesn't need a plastic bumper

Sarek Autowerke could help you here. Here is a video showing some recent work they did

I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with Ralf Sarek at SCARR this year. He has some really good ideas on the D5 and how some things that he has done/is working on for the Defender can also be applied to the D5. I am planning on stopping by his shop when we had up that way for a family trip to NOVA. I might just have the leave the 5 with him for a few days if one of his plans comes about.

I swapped out the stock 255/55-20 Goodyear Eagles and 20" x 8.5" OEM wheels for 285/50-20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s on 20" x 9.5" Redbourne wheels. No lift necessary and no clearance problems, even with vehicle lowered for mother-in-law's ease of entry.
