3 years ago I replaced my Dakota (almost same as your Durango) that I had for 10 years with my P38. I loved it so much I added a D2 to my fleet. If you work on them yourself, and avoid LR dealers for parts, they are not expensive to maintain. I suspect you won't regret buying an LR, and will fall in love with it very quickly.

I took it for a test drive today and committed to it. It's far from perfect but it runs well, pulls strong and sounds great. It seems like everything worked but there are a few glitches I'm hoping my buddy's shop can straighten out before I bring it home. Is anyone here in Northern NJ and has an IID tool I can use for 15 minutes one day soon? I'd like to plug it in while it's still at the shop and I'm not in a position to buy the truck and a $530 tool and, and, and... I'll get one soon but need to sell my old beater truck and the car with the dead motor first.
