Default Denmark are also here now!

After recently purchasing a 1997 Discovery here in Denmark, I have of course "googled" everything I can find about it. And guess what this forum seems to be the place to find all the answers, (well almost anyway)
My name is Jason and I am from Scotland but moved to Denmark many years ago where I am now a permanent resident.
I have been heavily involved in many car projects from hotrods to minis to Land Rovers and have been employed by the European Drag Racing Champion here in Denmark as well as having my own workshop which I still have.
I have non car related employment now so any car fixes or projects I am involved with are either for myself or for friends and therefore I am able to enjoy this as I feel more of an "enthusiast" again rather than trying to make a living
My newly purchased Discovery is a 1997 model with a 3.9 V8 and autobox, 7 seater, leather interior, aircon model and I love it! I have had a few problems with our other car not really up to the "pull my big trailer" job so this is a welcome addition to the family

I'm looking forward to reading posts in the forum and who knows I might just be able to help some others also.

DR72 is only a few days old so I haven't had a chance to really get under it but can see a few small welding jobs and I think I'll do the front headlamp modification to the later style (after 2003) The ABS lamp is on and the cruise control ain't working either so a few things to get on with... no rush.....I'm only an "enthusiast" now

Welcome. Don't trust the heat gauge, trust your scanner. Be sure to download the RAVE shop and owner manual set. Drag racing is not unknown to Rovers....
