Default freelander - service engine soon light

I have had the "service engine soon" light on for a least a year of two on my 02 freelander. Yesterday the "sevice engine" light came on and it would not rev more than 1500 rpm. I turn off the engine and wait a few seconds, start it up and was on my way. But this happened about a dozen times in about 5 miles. Seems to happen on deceleration. I took it to my brother inlaws shop because the dealer couldn't get me in till the following week with no loner car available. He put it on the computer and got some codes but was not able to find what the codes mean. Apparently LR has not released the codes to NAPA yet. Does anyone out there have the information for the following codes.?
P1319, P1628, P1629, P0174.
We ended up replacing the throttle body and cleared all the codes. ($560 bills later with the family discount) and it seemed to take care of the problem. Then that evening the "service engine soon" light came back on, though the "service engine" light has not come back on. This is the second throttle body in 70,000 miles, the first was under warrenty. Any ideas?
Cheers
Jerry

The butterfly valve was brownish but other than that you can't see much. The thought that the electric moter in it might be malfunctioning.

NAS KV6 Classic symptoms of a bad throttle body connector. A new TIB details the repair. I'll post the part #.

Thank you for the suggestion. Makes sense to me since the light goes on and off. Is this a repair I can do my self? Do you just swap out connectors or do you have to splice the wires?

i have the service engine soon light on as well and also am unable to find out what the codes are for my 02 freelander.
the two codes i have are 0171 and 1470. if anyone has any idea what these are it would save me oh about $90 in diagnostics fees from the dealer. thanks for any help.
