Hey guys,
I'm currently on the hunt for my first LR.
The vehicles primary function will be to tow a boat.
I've been looking at LR3s and RR Sports. Both around 2005-2008.

Anything I should be cautious of, look for, etc?
I'll be doing my own maintenance and repairs.
Would you get one over the other? If so, why?

If you get an early LR3 check to see of the compressor for the air suspension has been changed. Early ones known to fail. The moon roof drains are known to clog up and you'll get a wet floorboard.

They are beasts and do a great job of pulling my boat.

Still searching for one. Prob wont pick one up till boat season starts next year.
I'm looking at Discos too.
No matter what I choose, it will probably be above 100k miles and under $15k.

Any particular model or year range I should look at vs another?
One more reliable than the other?
