I actually dont but live in an area where many do.

 

For food, yes. not for sport. I can shoot paper for sport but it isn't very tasty.

 

If it moves or swims then it's food so bow or gun I'm in.......

 

Personally I don't hunt and I don't shoot anymore (although I possess guns). There are lots of doddery geriatric loons around here who tote shotguns during the winter and most are dangerous to themselves and others and often end up shooting themselves, their dogs or each other in error. Check out the stats for shooting accidents in France and you'll be amazed. Their idea is 'if it moves - shoot it' without ensuring it's a genuine target or not. Ironically they eyesight tested some old fool and he wasn't fit even to drive with his bad eyesight let alone shoot - guess what, they gave him his gun back and didn't suspend his licence (it all boils down to who you know here). Talking of gun licences, most geriatrics don't even possess one.

 

bow and arrow or cross bow. no guns for this guy. altho my pops loves his rifles.
