Default New to me Disco II, First LR

Hello everyone, just wanting to introduce myself. Just picked up my first Rover today after looking at them for several months. 2001 Disco with 2" OME lift, '91 GDE aluminum bumper, SD roof rack, and some other goodies. New brakes, recent fluid flush and plugs/wires. 133k miles and new head gaskets seem to have been installed within the last 30k miles. So far a new front drive shaft and scan gauge are planned, along with maybe a new t-stat. Any other investments I should make early on? Hoping to get some good wheeling in along central Cal at hollister hills and Pismo beach. Thanks all.

New stat for sure. Get a real Land ROver 180F one. Enjoy free download of the RAVE shop manual below. This pix is of the $70 Ultra Gauge, will also read and reset engine codes.
