Returning Newbie
I actually had a really nice 1995 Land Rover Discovery a couple of years ago. I sold it after a year and have regreted it ever since. Talk about perfect timing. I was thinking I wanted another disco and had a really custom euro bmw. Put it up for sale or trade on Saturday and on Sunday got a response. Well, the trade worked out for both of us. It looks really similar to my first disco.
Old one

New one. 1996 Disco 5 speed manual. My first one was automatic.

I'm really glad to be back.

Thanks. I'm glad to be back. However, definitely has the quirks. Rear windows don't work, front windows go done, but don't sound happy, passenger side power seat works partly, etc. I knew the quirks from the first one. I don't care, love discos...lol
You know the drill, window ECU has cracked solder places on circuit board [rear windows], regulator rollers crack [front window], and seat from salvage is $30 (rob the motors) - or just remove driveline from motor and put in electric drill and adjust seat to one spot an leave it.....
"Repair a Land Rover Discovery electric window ECU to make the rear windows open again" here is a link that should help you fix your rear windows assuming that a bad solder is the issue
