Unfortunately, that's the way it is with alot in the car world.

Dude, that sucks. These people you mentioned obviously don't know the waving rule... it's like "the law!". You have to wave.

Don't stop waving just because a few losers don't know that they are supposed to. There's plenty of us good guys around. Hell, I waved to a Range Rover on the way home from the gym this morning and got a huge smile and a BIG WAVE back from the gal! She was pretty hot too!!! I should have stopped and got her number!!!

Too right. But there's no harm in politely schooling them in our waving ways! In fact, I might just mosey on over to the Range Rover section and tentatively post a thread about the waving culture.

I do get waves from Range owners sometimes - but the vast majority of them are simply clueless. No harm in giving them a nudge (not in your car lol)

Also, a technique I started using - if they aren't paying attention, beep your horn first and then wave! That works almost every time!

I rarely see older rovers, gave up on new ones, but when I do I'm driving my minivan. I still wave. They look confused. It's an understanding

Don't give up, Valingo! There's hope! I get waved back at by the newer ones sometimes - it really depends on if they are paying attention or not. Most people who drive newer Rovers are too busy screwing around with their stupid gadgets (iPhone / iPad / texting etc) to be aware of anything!

In fact, all I see these days is people driving around while playing / looking at their Phones. No wonder there's so many accidents.

Just give them a honk and a wave! It works! And if they still don't wave back, then consider them a braindead moron. Ha ha ha ha

Saw two d2's today while taking a drive in my d1, waved at both. No wave backs. But hey, at least I'm not the only person in Wisconsin to own a rover
