Long story short....Sold my Rover. Got a good offer and went with it. Man I was never more sad to see a vehicle be sold. It's sale has funded completely paying off our destination wedding in St Lucia this spring. One big wieght lifted off my chest. And the future wife is really happy. I've had to do this before. I sold my green truck to buy her the ring and pay some bills. I guess it could be worse. I do like working on them.
I did have enough left over to pick up a consolation prize..
I picked it up for less than what the rack goes for new.

Yea it's actually pretty clean. It has some issues. But it's probably the cleanest Disco I've ever owned. It's really daunting to start all over. All over with maintenance and upgrades. I'm gonna have to make a big list. I'm a little overwhelmed at the cost and the mountain of work in front of me.
It runs hot. Plus it's got high miles. So this might get an engine rebuild if I find it hasn't been done already. Compression check is first on the list. It's got a major power steering leak. The drive home was steering by "Armstrong".
Luckily I was able to keep all the Disco specific parts when I sold my RR. So I still have a bunch of spare parts.
