Half of that crap doesn't apply to discovery or any other vehicle with a solid front axle. The other half doesn't apply if you lift it correctly... in other words... spend more money.

But if it makes you feel better about your choice to leave you vehicle stock, that's fine, lifts certainly aren't for everyone.

God what a moron. All of that applies to a badly lifted independent suspension vehicle. A solid axle truck (like a Disco II) is simple to lift and doesn't cause many (if any) problems. Especially when you only apply a small lift, like the 2" lift many (including me) have done to their Discos.

And notice that the irregular tread wear is on a tire that is on the REAR axle? That's the solid axle on a Chevy pickup. The angle of that tire would not change if the suspension was lifted. Which means that truck had that problem in the first place.

Find something different to talk about buddy. You clearly have no idea about this.

Guys it was intended for a laugh
I have no objections to adding a suspension lift to my rig, just though it was an interesting video and kinda funny.

You guys gotta learn to lay back once in awhile and not take everything so seriously

Isn't this the same guy that someone posted a link to for brake replacement where he slapped new pads on old rotors? This guy knows his stuff. Sweeping generalizations make it clear to everyone listening that you are very knowledgeable.

I think his time would be better spent re-jetting his carburetor so he doesn't get so much black smoke pouring out of the shiny sidepipes on his 'Vette with the flat-spotted tires.

Haha I know it was for a laugh.

I was chuckling the whole way through, I was just pointing out some of the things that made me laugh.
