wow. If this is OTA, why did you have to call the dealer? What do I tell them?
So, just tell them: "Please enable the software update for my VIN."
I called and talked to foreman and they keep telling me there is no such thing 🤯 any chance you have a dealer contact I can call and have your guy add my VIN? Mine is not only impossible but he’s a bit of a conceded *ss
First, you need to call the service department of a Rover dealer and ask them to add the your VIN number to their system to permit the download. Any dealer should be able to do this. Once this is completed you should be able to do the OTA download yourself. The download didn’t work for me until I called the dealer and did this. All good now! Only six months of waiting!
The software update works and fixes the navigation voiceover problem. I have confirmed this.

finally, this morning I was able to update the software and the problems have disappeared. Yesterday the person in charge of the dealership called me and he told me that it was already available.
