Wiring diagram for the entry system that I believe needs the investigating, it mentions upper tailgate so wonder if they’re connected



I have a 2016 L405 Range Rover which I’ve just bought. I’m having 2 issues and I wonder if they might be related

1. the smart key not found error, car won’t lock or unlock with either remote and I’ve changed the battery on both fobs, tested by LR to confirm they do send out a signal, and discharged the cars 12V battery to reset everything but not working. Checked a few relevant fuses but seem ok. My next step would be to the relay which has the key symbol on the diagram which I also found in the wiring diagram which may be the same, any advice?

2. second issue is that the rear tailgate Upper opens with the button but it won’t close, it lets out an error tone 3 times and fails to come down, can only do it manually. Bottom half opens and closes with the button

car has been scanned by LR and no errors are coming up

if anyone can tell me where the RF radio (fob signal receiver) is then I can test/replace that, and also the location of the KVM as well would be good to know

any input would be amazing.
