Default Shuddering when driving - through steering wheel

Hi,
I have a 2010 Range Rover Sport 5.0L V8
When I purchased it, it had a shuddering/vibration which I assumed was a wheel balance issue.
We put new tyres on the rear, did a wheel alignment and balance, problem did not go away.
We put new tyres on the front, did a wheel alignment and balance, problem did not go away.
We swapped the wheels front to back and side to side, problem did not go away.
Replaced the bushings in the control arms which some where worn, problem improved but did not go away.
Checked drive shaft bushings - which were ok.
Check the steering column and steering box - ok apparently.
Checked that all wheels were concentric - ok apparently. (I don't trust that shop)
The problem is always there but patently obvious at 60+mph on a flat smooth highway, some days it is indistinguishable, but most days it is horrible.
When I accelerate from standing start and turn the wheel (say to go around a corner from and intersection) there is a rubbing grinding noise and I can feel it through the steering wheel, subtle but it is there.
The shuddering can be felt through the steering, not the body, which leads me to believe the issue is up front somewhere.

Any ideas?

I am taking it to a new wheel alignment/balancing specialist today

I had this same issue in a car I just bought 2013 RRS. I also had the shuttering going uphill especially on turns. I replaced all four tires early this week and the shuttering is gone. I’m assuming the tread depth was off and the car was having issues with that. Hope this helps.
