2023 RR Sport Shifting Issues in Sport Mode - HELP PLEASE
I have a 23 Range Rover Sport with 5500 miles on it. Recently I noticed that if i put it into sport and give it gas from a standstill or a roll around 35+ miles an hour, it just bounces the RPM's around 5500 and doesn't shift. I can use the paddles.... and there are no issues with the car in "D".
Ive also had it almost "miss" gears while giving it heavy acceleration in sport mode. Almost like it shifts VERY hard into each gear.
I've attached a brief video of me replicated the problem. I did this to show my service advisor but I feel like you guys would know more than they do.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

Wish you were getting multiple responses but seems common here for no replies? Being a 2023, this vehicle must be under warranty, so just take it back to the dealer and have them address it. I wouldn't give a hoot or a holler for what anybody said on a forum when a vehicle is covered. Also, you might list your specs in the future. Last, you state the video is a 20 second clip, you should have been at 150 mph+ and back down to 35 within that time, considering how these hot rods run if it's a 5.0L Supercharged.

i guess it’s getting confused when to shift at certain rpms when I’m beating on it from what I’m told.
Glad to hear they have a fix for you. The only reason we bought this vehicle was the Supercharged engine. Only supercharger alternatives for us were either a C8 Vette (too old for that) or a Trackhawk (too expensive) so bought this used RRS with the 5.0L. It's a nice vehicle but seems way too complicated. It will accelerate from 75 mph to 122, to pass 2 vehicles, in a blink of an eye.
Absolutely. I got lucky and got one of the first 23 sports in new england, so that was cool. But along with it it's like getting the new iPhone and just accepting it will have bugs and need updates and repairs. Im just thankful it isnt mechanical and i have no errors
Right. FWIW, a RR buff told me something about these RRs that's intriguing: "to really appreciate these cars you have to take them off-road." I say "no thanks"...somebody is going to have to bump me off-road to see what it does. Hopefully it will prove it's value at that time.
