Default 03 LR Disco HSE (Colorado)

Greetings LR Enthusiast,

Afternoon,

I am contemplating letting my 03 Disco HSE seven seater go (has all the options to include the rare black leather interior), and want to see if we have any interested parties in the group. This thing is trail ready and still built for daily driving. The paint is not faded but is scratched and chipped, but still nice for its age. I can provide more details if requested but here are a few highlights. For any serious inquiries let me know I can send more details and pics upon request. This is my daily driver that takes me 60 miles round trip to work, and I have taken it to CA and back on this new motor so all the kinks for the swap have been worked out and this thing is ready to roll.a

This Disco has a fresh motor and transmission with approx. 40k miles on it. (Swap was 10k miles ago in Aug 14), by two LR master mechanics. (paid $4,500, Aug 14)

BRAND NEW (less than 50 miles) BFG AT KO 265/75/R16 on new Black Pro Comp Crawler Wheels. (paid $1200, May 15)

2in OME lift and (paid $800, Sept 14)

New brakes and rotors all around (paid $600, Dec 14)

Full service and fluid changes (paid $400, Dec 14)

Roof rack with custom light bar (paid $1800)

New Warn 10K winch (paid $1000)

Custom Bumper by Wicked Trail Fabrication with integrated light bar (paid $1500)

The interior is nice and clean and there is a DVD player with screens in the headrests.

This Disco stock would be around a $6500 truck easy. With the new motor and all the add-on I think a fair price would be around $10k, OBO. LR is in Colorado.

Im not here to buy but I would suggest you add more specific information about the engine swap. On these trucks a engine swap can be a good thing or a bad thing. If your originally engine **** the bed we want to know why, what happened. Next we want to know what kind of engine was put in. Just a used donor engine from another D2 or from a P38 Range Rover? Or was it a professionally rebuilt engine? Or was it a brand new 0 mile engine. If you swapped in a used donor engine that was not rebuilt then really you did the next owner little good because the donor engine is still very likely to develop the same issues that effect most of the 4.6 litter engines. Unless its been professionally rebuilt/upgraded with top hat liners and things like that then I forsee more problems down the road. Not trying to stump on your parade, just being honest.

Besides that your truck looks very nice.
